My Finds at Goodwill

Today I got off work and was able to go to the Goodwill auction. I wanted the lot of yarn that they had, but when it got to 100 dollars I stopped bidding. Imagine trying to justify spending 100 dollars on used yarn to the guardian of the piggy bank. All in all though it was nice that I was able to get out and do something like this for a change.

The next lot I was interested in was a lot of album cover negatives. I am not quite sure what I am going to do with them. You can bet it will be interesting though.

Just keep in mind this is two of about 50.  These are two of more of the interesting ones. In the stack I found quite a few Metallica, Ozzy Osborne, The GooGoo Dolls etc. there are just too many to name. They are in really good shape and I am super happy to have won them!

The next two items I found are just as worthy to get excited about. They are fodder for my artistic abilities. I am pondering what to do with them as we speak.

First up is a wine bottle box. The possibility of what this can become is just mind boggling! Can you just imagine what this can become?

The questions coming to mind are: What theme do I use for the box? Do I use spray paint or just my all purpose craft paint? What color do I use? What do I use to fill in those darn holes?

One thing for sure is when you next see the box it will be totally different!

I also found some mini cigarillo boxes.  I can’t believe that I got to them before anyone else did.  There are quite a few ladies who alter boxes like this here in Bastrop.  Beating them to the punch is a difficult thing to do.  Now I get to work my magic on them.

The wheels are turning! Tomorrow is hide in my craft room day and work out the possibilities!

Have a great Saturday!
